Privacy policy

Sign-in isn't switched on yet: accounts and saved designs are kept only in this browser for now, and nothing is sent to an account service.
Game Storage Generator (https://gamestoragegenerator.com) is run by Nostalgia Creative Co. (Samuel Young), Melbourne, Australia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.
The short version
- The designer runs in your browser. Your designs are made on your own computer and are not uploaded to us.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell your information.
- If you make an account, we keep your email and your saved designs so they follow you between devices.
What we collect

We never see or store your card number: Stripe handles payment details.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the site, and only what they need:
- Vercel (hosting, USA) — server logs.
- Supabase (accounts and saved designs) — your email and saved designs. Stripe (payments, USA/Australia) — payment details. Google — only if you choose Google sign-in. jsDelivr delivers the sign-in code library, so it sees your IP address when sign-in loads.
Some of these services store data outside Australia, mainly in the USA. We choose services that protect it to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles. We will share information if the law requires it, and never otherwise.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage to keep your designs, your sign-in and an offline copy of the app on your device. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings (this deletes designs that are only on that device).
How long we keep it
Server logs: as long as Vercel keeps them (usually days to weeks). Account data: until you delete your account or ask us to. Order records: as long as tax law requires (5 years in Australia). Messages: until your question is resolved, then up to 2 years.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email nostalgiacreativeco@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. You can also delete your saved designs from your account page.
Children
The designers are made for families, and children often help design. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. A parent or guardian should make any purchase or account.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be noted on the site.
